The optimizer is the heart of AutoDFS: it scans 20+ sportsbooks in real time, prices every player line against the market's fair number, and surfaces the +EV edges the moment they appear. You never read American odds — you read one number: EV%.
The pipeline, in four steps
- Pull every line. Player props from 20+ books, refreshed continuously through the day.
- Compute the fair price. Each book's odds are de-vigged and combined into a sharp-market consensus probability for every line.
- Compare to the payout. The gap between the app's implied price and the fair probability is the EV%.
- Rank everything. The Positive EV board sorts every prop by edge — pick an app tab and the best prices float to the top.
Reading the board
- Green (≥ 0%) — break-even or better. The app is paying you fairly or overpaying. That is the edge.
- Red (below 0%) — the app has the edge. Skip it.
- +2% or better is a strong spot. The higher the number, the bigger your long-run margin.
From board to entry
Tap a green pick to add it, build your entry, and the terminal computes the entry's real EV with exact Poisson-binomial math — never a naive average of the legs. When you're ready, your picks load on the app for review. You confirm and submit on the book yourself; nothing is ever auto-submitted.
Guardrails we bake in
- EV-first display. Every surface shows EV%, never raw odds — no math homework.
- One pick per game. Apps reprice same-game combos, so generated entries never stack two legs from one game.
- Locked structures. Entries only build in payout shapes the apps actually offer, with a per-leg break-even filter.
