Know your structure before your picks
- 2-pick power, 3x — break-even 57.7% per leg.
- 3-pick power, 6x — break-even 55.0% per leg.
- Flex plays (3–6 picks) — one miss still pays; the effective thresholds are lower but require exact distribution math to grade properly.
Demons, goblins, and the standard line
Demons (harder line, bigger multiplier) and goblins (easier line, smaller multiplier) are separate prices, not free upgrades. A goblin that hits 70% can still be worse value than the standard line if the multiplier discount overcharges you for the safety. Each variant needs its own EV calculation against the sportsbook consensus — which is exactly how the board grades them.
Where PrizePicks edges usually live
- Slower-moving markets: WNBA, esports, tennis, golf — lines drift from the sharp consensus more often than headline NBA/NFL props.
- News windows: lineup and injury news moves sportsbooks first; pick'em lines can lag by minutes.

Cross-check any leg in the research view (every book's line, de-vigged, side by side), build the entry, review it on PrizePicks, and submit it yourself. The edge is in the prices — the discipline is in only playing the green ones.
